Vegreville Volleyball Adult League
League Information & Rules
League Schedule
Is subject to change. If the school, for whatever reason, is closed on a scheduled game day. Volleyball will be cancelled for that day as well, and will commence on the following scheduled day, unless an alternate day is posted.
Player Etiquette
If you are unable to attend a game day, it is YOUR responsibility to contact your team captain in good time, so you can work together to find a replacement if one is needed.
Team Captain's, if needed, please use the substitute players list on our Facebook page, these are individuals that want to play but don't have a team. We will also have the team rosters and waivers readily available at the gym if you recruit from outside of the league (please see Team Etiquette section for allowable number of outside subs).
Team Etiquette
If your team is unable to make a game you must give at least 48 hours notice; it is not the leagues responsibility to find a replacement team to play, you must do this yourselves. Please be mindful of the other team as they have paid to play, as you have.
In league scoring you must have at least 3 rostered players for your points to count. If you have less than 3 the opposing team will automatically be awarded the win.
As we want to maximize court time please work with the other players to set up and take down the nets and put away the equipment neatly in the storage room.
School Etiquette
It is a privilege for our league to rent the school gym/equipment for our recreation pleasure. Please treat it, as if it were your own. Please pick up after yourself and not leave garbage behind.
